Clause 3

Administration of Act

(1)

The Minister may appoint a public officer to be the Licensing Officer for the purpose of this Act and may similarly appoint such number of public officers as Assistant Licensing Officers as may be necessary.

(2)

The Commissioner may appoint in writing —

(a)

any auxiliary police officer to be an approved person to exercise the powers of an approved person conferred by or under this Act as are specified in the appointment; and

(b)

any police officer to be an authorised officer to exercise the powers of an authorised officer conferred by or under this Act as are specified in the appointment.
