Amendment of section 82
Section 82 of the Bankruptcy Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) A bankrupt who has not obtained a discharge must, when directed by the Official Assignee, submit to the Official Assignee an account of —
(a)
all moneys and property which have come to the bankrupt’s hands for the bankrupt’s own use during such period as the Official Assignee may specify; and
(b)
the moneys and property which have been expended in the expenses necessary for the maintenance of the bankrupt and the bankrupt’s family during the same period.”; and
(b)
by deleting the words “subsection (1)(a) or (b)” in subsection (2) and substituting the words “subsection (1)”.
