Amendment of section 129
Section 129(1) of the Bankruptcy Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting paragraph (i) and substituting the following paragraph:“(i)aid the Official Assignee in the realisation of the bankrupt’s property and the distribution of the proceeds among the bankrupt’s creditors;”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (l), the following paragraph:“(la)disclose to the Official Assignee any matter in respect of which the bankrupt is or may become a defendant or respondent in proceedings (including criminal proceedings), to such extent as the Official Assignee may require;”.
