Clause 9

The principal Act is amended by renumbering section 7 as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) The members, officers and employees of the Council are, in relation to their administration, assessment, collection and enforcement of payment of composition sums under section 26, deemed to be public officers for the purposes of the Financial Procedure Act (Cap. 109); and section 20 of that Act applies to these persons even though they are not or were not in the employment of the Government.”.
