Clause 11

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (a), the following paragraph:“(aa)the police officer is interdicted under section 29 from the performance of duty;”; and

by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Except with the written permission of the Commissioner, no police officer below the rank of inspector shall, during any period referred to in subsection (1), leave Singapore before disciplinary proceedings against that police officer under this Part are concluded.”.
