Amendment of section 42
Section 42 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “or dismissed” in subsection (1), the words “, or retired in the public interest”;
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “is dismissed” in subsection (2), the words “or retired in the public interest from the Police Force”; (c)by deleting the word “pay” in subsection (2) and substituting the word “emoluments”; and
(d)
by inserting, immediately after the words “or dismissal” in the section heading, the word “, etc.,”.
