Amendment of section 85
Section 85(2) of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (f), the following paragraph:“(fa)the classification, treatment, employment, discipline and control of special police officers serving sentences of detention, including the temporary or other release from detention for good conduct while in detention, for compassionate grounds or otherwise;”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “national service” in paragraph (i), the words “or other service”.
