Consolidations
(1)
A regulated person must not, without the prior written approval of the Authority, merge or consolidate with, or be taken over by —
(a)
another regulated person; or
(b)
any other person carrying on any business connected to the provision of media services in Singapore.
(2)
For the purposes of subsection (1), the Authority may specify in a code of practice the circumstances under which a regulated person would be considered to be merged or consolidated with, or taken over by, another regulated person or any other person.
