Clause 24

Consequences of being interested in relevant matter

A member of the Agency who is interested in a relevant matter relating to the Agency —

(a)

must not vote or take part in any discussion or decision of the Agency or any committee relating to the relevant matter, or otherwise participate in any activity of the Agency that relates to the relevant matter;

(b)

must withdraw from any meeting of the Agency or committee during the consideration or discussion relating to the relevant matter if the member presiding at the meeting under section 30 so requests;

(c)

must not sign any document relating to the entry into a transaction or the initiation of the relevant matter; and

(d)

is to be disregarded for the purpose of forming a quorum for that part of a meeting of the Agency or a committee during which a discussion or decision relating to the relevant matter occurs or is made.
