Clause 6

Amendment of section 12

Section 12 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “from” wherever it appears in subsections (1) to (4) and substituting in each case the word “after”;

(b)

by deleting the words “specified body” in subsection (3)(b) and substituting the word “Board”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(3A) The Board must commence an action under section 10 within 2 years after the date of the occurrence of the last material event on which the action is based.”.
