Clause 10
Amendment of Article 21
Article 21 of the Constitution is amended by deleting clauses (2), (3) and (4) and substituting the following clause:“(2) The President may act in his discretion in the performance of the following functions (in addition to those in the performance of which he may act in his discretion under the other provisions of this Constitution):
(a)
the appointment of the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 25;
(b)
the withholding of consent to a request for a dissolution of Parliament.”.
