Amendment of section 4

Section 4 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsections (1) and (2) and substituting the following subsections:“(1) The Commissioner must cause to be kept and maintained a register of all persons in Singapore who are registered or required to be registered under this Act.(2) The register is to be in such form as the Commissioner thinks fit, and must contain —

(a)

the name and gender of every person registered or required to be registered under this Act; and

(b)

such other particulars of that person as the Commissioner considers necessary.”.
