Clause 103

Amendment of section 223

Section 223 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the word “securities” in subsection (1)(a) and (c), the words “, securities‑based derivatives contracts or CIS units”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “to securities” in subsection (2), the words “, securities‑based derivatives contracts or CIS units”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the words “such securities” wherever they appear in subsection (2)(a) and (b), the words “, securities‑based derivatives contracts or CIS units”.
