Clause 156

Amendment of section 283

Section 283(1) of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately before the definition of “control”, the following definition:“ “authorised real estate investment trust” means a real estate investment trust that is a collective investment scheme authorised under section 286;”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “prospectus”, the following definition:“ “recognised real estate investment trust” means a real estate investment trust that is a collective investment scheme recognised under section 287;”.
