Clause 22

Section 105 of the Women’s Charter is amended by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(aa)where the marriage was solemnized on or after the date of commencement of section 6 of the Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016, that it is not a valid marriage by virtue of section 11A; or”.
