Related amendments to Merchant Shipping Act

Section 107 of the Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 179) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “Where” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (1A), where”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) This section does not apply to a matter required to be reported under section 4 of the Merchant Shipping (Wreck Removal) Act 2017.”.
