Excluded ship

SECOND SCHEDULESections 14(2) and 30(b)Excluded shipFor the purposes of section 14, an excluded ship is a ship which —

(a)

is operated under a licence or permit, or is exempted from the requirement of a licence or permit under —

(i)

the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Harbour Craft) Regulations (Cap. 170A, Rg 3); or

(ii)

the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Pleasure Craft) Regulations (Cap. 170A, Rg 6);

(b)

is insured under such policy of insurance covering the registered owner’s liability under this Act as required by the Port Master under those Regulations; and

(c)

navigates exclusively in areas within the limits of the port as may be declared under section 3 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 170A).
