Amendment of section 25

Section 25 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “The” in subsection (4) and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (4AA), the”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(4AA) The voter’s mark on the ballot paper must be made in the area demarcated on the ballot paper for that purpose, and not elsewhere.”.
