Repeal and re-enactment of section 73

Section 73 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Who may make application under section 7173. An application under section 71 may be made to the Supreme Court —

(a)

in respect of section 71(a), (b), (c), (d) or (e), by any one or more of the following persons:

(i)

any person who voted or had a right to vote at the election to which the application relates;

(ii)

any person claiming to have had a right to be returned or elected at the election;

(iii)

any person alleging himself to have been a candidate at the election; and

(b)

in respect of section 71(f), by the Presidential Elections Committee.”.
