Clause 6

by deleting the word “An” in subsections (1) and (2) and substituting in each case the words “Subject to subsection (2A), an”;

by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(2A) This section only applies to —

a disclosure mentioned in subsection (1)(a) or (b);

an acceptance mentioned in subsection (1)(c);

a communication mentioned in subsection (1)(d), or anything done in consequence of such a communication;

a display mentioned in subsection (2)(a) or (b); or

a publication mentioned in subsection (2)(c),that occurs before the date of commencement of section 6 of the Registered Designs (Amendment) Act 2017.”; and

by deleting the section heading and substituting the following section heading:“Disclosure, etc., of design before certain date”.
