Amendment of section 16
Section 16(1) of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “or, in the case of a staged development, the date the first temporary occupation permit is issued in respect of any lot or proposed lot comprised in the initial stage of the staged development on completion thereof” in paragraph (a); and
(b)
by deleting the words “, but in every case before the collection of maintenance charges from any purchaser of any lot or proposed lot in the development starts”.
