Amendment of section 71
Section 71 of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting the word “and” at the end of subsection (1)(b);
by deleting the words “pursuant to a special resolution” in subsection (1)(c);
by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(d)in respect of any liability incurred by a person holding the office of chairperson, secretary, treasurer of the management corporation or member of the council of the management corporation because of an act or omission, committed or omitted in good faith, in performing the functions of that office.”; and
by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(3A) Every decision required or authorised by this section to be made by a management corporation is by an ordinary resolution.”.
