Arrest by authorised officers who are not police officers
Where an authorised officer (not being a police officer) makes an arrest under section 22(2)(b) —
(a)
the authorised officer must, without unnecessary delay, hand over the arrested person to a police officer; and
(b)
section 66(3), (4) and (5) of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) applies to the arrested person as if the arrested person were handed over to the police officer under section 66(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
