Application of sections 27 and 28
(1)
Sections 27 and 28 only apply to the specified surrounding area (if any) of a protected area or a protected place.
(2)
An authorised officer of a protected area or a protected place may exercise a power under sections 27 and 28 in any specified surrounding area of that protected area or that protected place —
(a)
in the case where the specified surrounding area is a public place, at any time; and
(b)
in any other case, only with the consent of the owner or occupier of the specified surrounding area.
