Clause 26

Power to require records, accounts and other information, etc.

(1)

An inspecting officer may, without entering or inspecting any premises, require a licensee to provide records, accounts and other information relating to the licensee’s establishment for massage within such time as the inspecting officer may require.

(2)

Any licensee who, without reasonable excuse, refuses or fails to provide the records, accounts or other information required under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
