Saving and transitional provisions
(1)
Section 25 of the Charities Act as amended by section 8(d) applies in relation to any inquiry under section 8 of the Charities Act —
where —
the inquiry was commenced before the date of commencement of section 8(d);
an order of suspension was made under section 25(2)(i) of the Charities Act in connection with that inquiry; and
the order of suspension is in force immediately before that date; or
where the inquiry is commenced on or after that date.
(2)
For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of any provision of this Act, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such additional provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of that provision as the Minister may consider necessary or expedient.
