Amendment of section 36
Section 36 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “for a period of 6 months” in subsection (3) and substituting the words “for a period prescribed”; and (b)by inserting, immediately after subsection (5), the following subsection:“(6) Different validity periods for provisional licences may be prescribed under section 48 for different types of provisional licences.”.
