Clause 36

Section 122 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “guilty of an offence”, the words “and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both”.
