Amendment of Second Schedule
Paragraph 1 of the Second Schedule to the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraph (e) and substituting the following paragraph: “(e)Private hire carsMotor cars that do not ply for hire on any road but are hired, or made available for hire, under a contract (express or implied) for use as a whole —
(i)
with a driver for the purpose of conveying one or more passengers in that car; or (ii) by a hirer to drive the motor car personally.”.
