Amendment of section 6
Section 6 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “be registered by” in subsection (1) and substituting the word “have”; and
(b)
by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection (2) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(a)as part of its name, the word “co‑operative” or “cooperative”, or its equivalent in the Malay, Chinese or Tamil language; and
(b)
at the end of its name, the word “limited” or its equivalent in the Malay, Chinese or Tamil language.”.
