Clause 9

Amendment of section 11

Section 11 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and a common seal”; and

(b)

by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) A society may, but need not, have a common seal.”.
