Clause 15

Lapse of licence

(1)

Unless expired or earlier revoked under section 16, a licence in respect of an early childhood development centre lapses —

(a)

if the licensee is an individual, on the date of death of the licensee;

(b)

if the licensee is a partnership, body corporate or an unincorporated association, on the date the licensee ceases to exist;

(c)

on the date that the licensee is no longer the owner or a lessee of, or no longer has a licence to occupy, the premises used as the early childhood development centre; or

(d)

if no children are enrolled in that centre for a continuous period prescribed, at the end of that period.

(2)

No part of any licence fee or renewal fee may be refunded upon the lapse of a licence under this section.
