Amendment of section 4F

Section 4F of the Architects Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsections:“(1A) A meeting of the Board may be held —

(a)

by a quorum of the members, being assembled together at the place and time appointed for the meeting; or

(b)

by means of audio, audio and visual, or electronic communication provided that —

(i)

all of the members who wish to participate in the meeting have access to the technology needed to participate in the meeting; and

(ii)

a quorum of members can simultaneously communicate with each other throughout the meeting.(1B) For the purposes of this Act, a member participating in a meeting as permitted under subsection (1A)(b) is taken to be present at the meeting.”.
