Clause 37

Provoking breach of peace

(1)

A person commits an offence if the person, within the area which is the target of a special authorisation —

(a)

uses any threatening, abusive or insulting words; or

(b)

engages in any conduct or behaviour,with intent to provoke a breach of the peace or whereby a breach of the peace is likely to be occasioned.

(2)

A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.
