by deleting the words “the accused” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “the defence”; and

by deleting subsection (4) and substituting the following subsection:“(4) Where the defence informs the court during any criminal case disclosure conference conducted under this Division that the accused intends to plead guilty to the charge, the court must fix a date for the accused’s plea to be taken in accordance with Division 3 of Part XI.”.
