Clause 28
Form and validity of licence
(1)
A licence must —
(a)
be in such form as the licensing officer may determine; and
(b)
contain the conditions subject to which it is granted.
(2)
A licence is in force for such period (not exceeding 5 years) as the licensing officer may specify in the licence, starting from the date of its issue.
(3)
A licence that is renewed continues in force for such period (not exceeding 5 years) as the licensing officer may specify in writing to the licensee, starting from the date immediately following that on which (but for its renewal) the licence would have expired.
