Clause 49

by deleting the words “, to require or authorise the taking of measures to ensure cybersecurity,” in the long title;

by deleting the words “and Cybersecurity” in section 1;

by deleting the words “within the meaning of section 15A(12)” in section 11(4)(b);

by inserting, immediately after subsection (5) of section 11, the following subsection:“(5A) In subsection (4)(b), “essential service” means any of the following services:

services directly related to communications infrastructure, banking and finance, public utilities, public transportation, land transport infrastructure, aviation, shipping, or public key infrastructure;

emergency services such as police, civil defence or health services.”; and

by repealing section 15A.
