Amendment of section 82
Section 82 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) The Authority may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint one or more of its officers to exercise a power conferred on the Authority to grant an exemption to any person (not being an exemption granted to a class of persons) under this Act, or to revoke any such exemption.”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “subsection (1)” in subsection (2), the words “or (1A)”.
