Amendment of section 34
Section 34(2) of the Customs Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “or petroleum for use in the propulsion of a motor vehicle or an aircraft” in paragraph (d) and substituting the words “for use in the propulsion of any motor vehicle, aircraft or vessel”;
(b)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (d)(i)(B); and
(c)
by inserting the word “and” at the end of sub‑paragraph (ii) of paragraph (d), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:“(iii)in relation to a vessel, is carried in the fuel supply tank of the vessel;”.
