Clause 15

Section 136 of the Customs Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(3) To avoid doubt, written permission under subsection (1) may be given to enable a person to leave Singapore without contravening that subsection, after the person has attempted to leave Singapore in contravention of that subsection, and without affecting any liability of the person for such attempt.”.
