Amendment of section 5B
Section 5B of the Road Traffic Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) An individual must not ride a personal mobility device or drive a mobility scooter or motorised wheelchair on a road at any time while the individual riding the personal mobility device, or driving the mobility scooter or motorised wheelchair, is towed by a motor vehicle or is otherwise holding on to a motor vehicle.”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “personal mobility device” in the section heading, the word “, etc.,”.
