Amendment of section 48

Section 48 of the Street Works Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the word “give” in subsection (1), the words “or serve”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the word “given” wherever it appears in subsections (1) and (2), the words “or served”; and

(c)

by deleting the marginal note and inserting the following section heading:“Receipts and notices may be given or served by authorised officer”.
