Amendment of section 3
Section 3(3) of the Gas Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “dangers arising from the” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “dangers (including to health) arising from the import,”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (f), the following paragraph:“(fa)to ensure security of supply of gas to consumers and to arrange for the secure operation of the gas transmission network in accordance with the Gas Network Code or other codes of practice;”.
