Amendment of section 12
Section 12 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “accepted” in subsection (1), the words “in writing”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(2A) For the purpose of subsection (2)(a), a claimant is considered to dispute a payment response if the claimant does not in writing accept the payment response.”.
