Clause 14

Related amendments to Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act

(1)

Section 16(2) of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (Cap. 30C) is amended by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (f), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(fa)to pay any connection charge payable under section 31M, and any tariff payable under section 31N, of the Environmental Public Health Act (Cap. 95);”.

(2)

Section 39(1) of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (c); and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (d) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(e)the payment of any connection charge payable under section 31M, and any tariff payable under section 31N, of the Environmental Public Health Act.”.
