Amendment of section 4
Section 4 of the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act (Cap. 65A) (called in this Part the CDS Act) is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (5), the following subsection:“(5A) To avoid doubt, a District Court or Magistrate’s Court may make a confiscation order under subsection (1) in respect of the full amount determined in accordance with section 10 to be the value of the benefits derived by the defendant from drug dealing.”.
