Clause 20

Section 126A of the Employment Act is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (a), the following paragraphs:“(aa)a failure, by an employer to whom a notification under section 96A applies, to comply with any requirement in the notification concerning the furnishing to the Commissioner of information on the retrenchment of any employee by the employer;

(ab)a contravention, by an employer of any provision of any regulations mentioned in section 139(2)(aa), that the Minister has prescribed under section 139(2B) as a contravention to which this section applies;”.
