Amendment of section 69

Section 69 of the Patents Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “or the Registrar may, if it or he” in subsection (3) and substituting the words “may, if the court”;

(b)

by deleting the words “, in proceedings before the court,” in subsections (3) and (4); and

(c)

by deleting the words “or the Registrar” wherever they appear in subsection (4).
