Section 26 does not apply to or in relation to any decision of the Registrar of Plant Varieties arising from an application or other proceeding made or filed before the date of commencement of that section.

Despite section 27(a), section 52(1) of the Plant Varieties Protection Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 27(a) continues to apply to or in relation to any offence under that Act committed before that date.
