Saving and transitional provisions relating to amendments to Registered Designs Act
(1)
Section 28 does not apply to or in relation to any proceedings commenced before the date of commencement of that section before the Registrar of Designs.
(2)
Section 29 does not apply to or in relation to any decision or order of the Registrar of Designs arising from an application or other proceeding made or filed before the date of commencement of that section.
(3)
Despite section 30(a), section 68(1) of the Registered Designs Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 30(a) continues to apply to or in relation to any offence under that Act committed before that date.
